“Words of Wisdom” is a five-week series that will be relevant and encouraging at any stage of our journey of faith. This study from the Book of Proverbs is full of practical life application and designed to start on Mother’s Day with a special parenting message. The series then walks through wisdom for work and wisdom for life, including real world conversations about how to live life based on God’s principles instead of what’s popular in public opinion.

Week 1:  "Wisdom for Words" - Whenever you have authority, your words have more gravity. Everybody’s responsible for how they use their words. Powerful wisdom on parenting designed for Mother’s Day.  Scripture: James 3 & Proverbs

Week 2:  "Get Wisdom"-  Wisdom unlocks the ability to make good decisions. Don’t make decisions based on feelings, wants, or emotions; use wisdom.  Scripture: Proverbs 4:7

Week 3:  "Wisdom for Work (Part I)" - God pours out his favor on those who work diligently. Excellence at work brings glory to God.  Scripture: Proverbs 10:4, Proverbs 12:11, Proverbs 13:4, Proverbs 13:11, Matthew 5:14, Colossians 3:23

Week 4:  "Wisdom for Work (Part II)" - Procrastination: I think it will lessen my pressure; when in fact, it will lessen my progress. What is procrastination costing you?  Scripture: Proverbs 15:32

Week 5  "Advice for Life"  - Get in line for good advice! Understand how life works versus how life looks. Seek God’s principles instead of people’s opinions.  Scripture: Proverbs 19:20
